I was thinking about that myself in all honesty, that's the beauty in Kurt's songwriting. There's a certain ambiguity in the lyrics, but I've felt they were about relationships with things, people, and places. I've even read in an interview that relationships (not just romantic) are the driving force behind his inspiration. It's a nice take on songwriting than the usual "This song is really about this and this". I hope that any of that made any sense, it's been a long day, and I'm starting to make even less sense than usual.

i agree with treason-- goes well with humid summers. easy to channel angst/feelings through these songs--they're so vague (in a way) and for me this makes them more personable and ultimately more personal

One of my favorite albums of all time! [2] tho this tracklisting is a little screwy--the titles are a little mixed up (i've denoted the tracks as they appear on this tracklisting in quotations). the "interlude" tracks are actually untitled. "interlude 4" is actually kodiak (reprise), and should follow hubble. "kodiak (reprise)" is actually radiotricity and should follow kodiak (reprise). "radiotricity" is actually your guest and host and is in its right place, ha. "your guest and host" is actually the fourth untitled track and also in the right place. sorry if that's confusing (i'm sure it is)~
