The TEXAS version of Jack Ingram is awesome. Albums like Electric , Young Man & Hey You are classic Texas Music. Great songs are: Goodnight Moon, Beat Up Ford and Mustang Burn. The NASHVILLE version of Jack is good too but it sounds just like everything else coming out of Nashville, pre-packaged and force-fed to the public. Country music is alive and well but it's heart is in Austin, not Nashville. Please come home Jack after you make your millions.

My favorite song by Jack is the duet with Jerry Jeff Walker, Picture On My Wall. I seriously can't get enough of that song. But Red White and Blues and Love You come in a close second and third. Not a big fan of that cover of Lips Of An Angel, though. Nothing against Jack, but that song did NOT need a country remake.
