been so many good records but Pinegrove completely took me by surprise, I've been spinning that almost every day for around 3 months now. How about yours?

Oh hai Joe. As far as I can tell you're not really missing out on all that much. The only band that I've heard being compared to MMISL in a long time is Part Dinosaur, working the mathy post-hardcore sorta vibe. Maybe have a look at The James Cleaver Quintet too. But I dunno Joe, it's pretty slim pickings. Calories have some good songs, they also have some pretty dire ones, but they're worth a listen. Rest assured I'll keep my ears peeled for the next million deads. Xx p.s. I remember the days when we had super compatibility. What happened man?

The word from Saddle Creek Records is that it's the start of a 'monster tour' for Bright Eyes, so it's actually quite likely he'll be going to a festival or two :) maybe you're in luck xx

Hey hey, no worries, did you go anywhere nice? Why did you leave before Oceansize?! They were really good. Though I hate Koko... Glad to have you back on board with the British music scene ;) TTNG especially were great, looking forward to the new album! Oh hell, I've been to so many gigs in the last month, Shapes + These Monsters, Blood Red Shoes, Someone Still Loves you Boris Yeltsin, Maps & Atlases, Cats X3, No Age, Crystal Castles + HEALTH, Talons etc etc. I saw Let's Wrestle last night as well. Living in London is a problem for my bank account... HOWEVER I just got a job so don't need to feel guilty about spending too much money any more. When are you next in town? x

Hullooooo! How's it going? Did you go to the size show in the end? I know what you mean about those bands, I still seem to be going to 500 gigs a week at the moment though so it can't be that bad. When are you next in London for gig times? I could do with some more London gig buddies, all my friends are poor and rubbish! x

Haha awes. We still have Toby! Tropics too :) I trust you know about these bands?? Both are playing at the Old Blue Last in the coming weeks, happy happy days. I know it's not the same, but Toby did a full band Shoes and Socks off date earlier this month and it was WEIRD. Do you come to London much for gigs? x

As if we're both listening to the Stanb at the same time. Ash actually just came round my house at 11.30pm to sell me a ticket and an EP. Talk about salesmanship. x
