KLANGSTABIL was founded in 1994 by Maurizio Blanco (8 December 1971), together with Boris May (29 November 1974).
After minor performances, a record company was drawn to the band and a first production on vinyl appeared. Her debut album from 1997, Böhm, god of electrics, is a tribute to the Dr. Böhm organ and the analogue-electronic sound of the 1970s. In 2000, Gioco Bambino (Italian for Game Boy) appeared, a highly monotonous minimalist album; It was created mainly by a Gameboys.
Kantorka of 2001 is a sound representation of the Krabat novel.
In 2008, Math & Emotion addressed the unification of ratio and ecstasy.
Familiar, one of the best-known pieces of sound stability, was created around 2002 and appeared on the annual compilation of the machine test; The planned album remained unfinished.
The title was reissued as a separate EP in 2010.
The artwork originates from the time of origin and was designed by the friendly, former The three graphic artist Aiga Rasch.
Sound stability is often represented at the machine festival in Oberhausen, but also at major festivals, such as at the Wave-Gothic meeting in Leipzig, the Dutch Summer Darkness Festival or the Amphi Festival.
Stylistically inspired by Kraftwerk, the spectrum ranges from experimental sound collages to electropop - with synth surfaces, elaborate rhythms and intense vocals of interwoven dark electro pop, which the band itself stylises as a soundpop:
"They call it 'klangpop'. (…) elaborated rhythmical work, hidden sound fragments and the specific tension are sound-well-known for … "
The vocals are chanting between English, German and Italian. Some of the songs are introductory with speech samples.
