Half of your opinions count for shit, especially when you look at the kind of music you listen to. Ahahahaha. Because what someone's opinion is worth is based on what music they listen to, right? Hang on, no, you're a twat. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Oh deary me, there really are a bunch nobs using this website. Half of your opinions count for shit, especially when you look at the kind of music you listen to. Dont even try and use big words and be right about everything when you blatenly really do know nothing about the genre of music you are trying to talk about.

Whilst I'd rather not stretch this out, I'd like to point out that at no point have i said Alexis' performance was poor. What they played, they played very well.

Agreed Danscabra. Whilst I agree with lotsofgoats over Alexis not playing enough Watch Out! and s/t stuff, they still played a fucking amazing set and maintained their title as one of the greatest live bands ever. At least in my opinion. Was an awesome gig, and theres no point looking back and criticising it for minor details like lack of variety.

Furthermore, I was discussing (as is the point of this shoutbox) the gig itself, and the sets. Comeback Kid played a great range of songs, that would cater for both older fans and those newer to the band, whilst Alexisonfire played as much of their newest stuff as possible. I just don't think it was as varied a set as it could have been.

I'd love to know who you quoted intricate guitar from, as it sure as hell wasn't me. Yes, the first album is my favourite, but Watch Out! is the best. Oh, and I don't thought that Comeback Kid have any musical talent (as it doesn't make sense lolz!!11one), but I'm a huge fan and they are right at the top of their genre. So someone likes 'em.

Accidents is from their second album - thus more recent than the intricate guitar material from their first album. Whatsmore, the fact that you people thought Comeback Kid have any sort of musical talent at all shows me just how deaf and/or lacking in cognitive capacity you are.

To suggest that Accidents is a recent anthem is complete proof you've no idea what you're on about. Equally, Alexisonfire didn't play 'That Girl Possessed', 'Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama!', 'No Transitory' or 'White Devil'. Which all things considered, is absolutely criminal. Comeback Kid's set list, however, was perfectly spread across all their material.

Beat Union seemed like a cheap Clash imitation mixed with Busted. Comeback Kid were just as appalling: it sounded like they were there to make as much tuneless noise as possible. AOF simply owned. Some of the more intricate guitar melodies of the early stuff went over the crowd's heads, but recent anthems such as Accidents and We Are the Sound were incredible. A great live act to say the least.

Beat Union were bollocks. Indie pieces of shit like that should stay the fuck away from hardcore/posthardcore/whatever AOF and/or CBK class as. CBK were pretty good, but Alexis were just plain amazing. Shame I could barely stand up for all the exhaustion by roughly halfway through their set.

With CBK's amazing new album in mind, this could quite possibly be the best gig I ever go to.
