Hahaha, I love how to-the-point your shout was in comparison to my insanely long blah-story. And that you ended up giving me more recs than I gave you. I'll definitely give them a listen, thanks!

I was gonna say Local Natives, but I reckon 213 plays says you've found out about them already. Love that band! One of my favourites bands, Why?, is missing from your library. They make alternative hip-hop .. rock .. folk .. pop? (I always have trouble describing them haha.) Amazing lyricism and multi-instrumentalism. Their 2008 album Alopecia might be one of my favourite albums of all time. There's this band called Smith Westerns: their last album is pretty good. The guitar riff of the first track called Weekend was in my head for weeks after I first listened to it. Villagers also make amazing tunes, haunting at times. Aaaaaand that's all I can think of at the moment. Got any for me?

Hey, thanks for the friend request. I apologize for how long it took for me to accept, I haven't been on here in a while. You listen to great artists.

I've seen The Chariot live, and they pissed me off. Good band, though. Dope taste, by the way.

Well I see that we are both Andy Hull fan's and that is important. Are you a fan of bad books or what? B/c they are really great.

Hmm I'd say my number one for the year would have to be Foals' album, Total Life Forever. But man there have been so many other good ones like Beach House, Local Natives and The Morning Benders. Love em all :) Wbu?

Shit we have a lot in common, haha. Um, not much that's entirely new, Eminem's Remission is pretty ill, few tracks are kinda lame but as a whole it's good. Dunno if you're into female-leading bands but I just started listening to this band called Warpaint and they're pretty good, reminiscent of a mellow Bowerbirds + Audrey lovechild, maybe. Laura Stevenson and the Cans, she's on the same record label as Bomb! The Music Industry and her album is available for free on their website. Jamming out to a lot of old music (stuff I listened to when I was younger) - Rise Against, Saves the Day, Against Me!, some electro stuff, do you like electro at all? I've got a fair amount of recommendations in that department.

Yeah, it's pretty good but definitely not worthy of the 10 pitchfork gave it. And that we do, anything we don't have in common you recommend?

Whenever I listen to Wolf Parade, I think "I should be listening to Sunset Rubdown instead."

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner...laziness, what can I say? If sputnik doesn't work for you, it's fine, I've even found myself going there a little less recently. It's just a good site for us music lovers to blow off steam and sometimes that steam even proves constructive. There's no need to force yourself, it's just for fun. As for the Sufjan EP, I liked it. A little more than AoA, but they're both fairly good, though I probably won't have either on my AotY list. Honestly I need to give them each another once over if I want to be confident in what I think of 'em.
