My first reaction was more an Aphex Twin track than Autechre but Thom's IDM influences really show through on this one. Also a Radiohead/Autechre collaboration called Radiotechre would be awesome.

I think you are half right Europimp, only half though. Sure most of what Radiohead does has already been done at some time, but it is their sheer versatility that shocks people. They seem to be fantastic at drawing upon a diverse range of influences, from all sounds and time periods, and bringing them together to create something that always sounds strangely natural and individual.
