Caledonia is a mind blowing track and I remember being floored by it when I listened to it for the first time. The other track are hit or miss for me. I'll have to re-listen to Cromagnon.

After listening to their "Orgasm", I don't even know why Throbbing Gristle is considered as the creators of Industrial scene. There's sheer amount of Industrial music motifs, which can be heard in each track. Experimental? Quite surely, but the elements of the genre still can be clearly heard. Pity that it went over people's head at that time, I suppose. Kind of obscure, too, which does proves my theory about this album. I bet, "Orgasm" has served as a paradigm for the next-next-gen music of its kind. I was just so appalled when I saw the year it was released when I played it. Don't want to sound banal in this sentence, but they were too ahead of their time, it's almost unbelievable.

This is slightly too fucked up for me, although 'First Utterance' is slowly beginning to click with me!

They remember me to Jacula, another 60's Experimental Rock band from Italy, they introduced a darkness unseen in that time, also an amazing riff in their song "Triumphatus Sad" that is like primitive Black Metal riffs.

cant believe that this is from '69 [2] They have anticipated a lot of styles from future like Shakespeare did.
