There are only a few seats that I could be sitting in, but I guess I'll find out when they send the tickets to me. Yeah, I've never seen her before! I kinda only got back into her a few years ago. I've always enjoyed her songs, but I only really started buying her albums around 2008. I did get Design Of A Decade when it came out. I used to reenact the 'Runaway' video in my lounge room haha!

Oh wow, that would have been amazing! The Velvet Rope is one of my favourite albums. When you got your tickets did they have the seat number? When I ordered my tickets it didn't say anything about the seats I'd be in, which I thought was a bit odd. We do have a lot of artists in common! I see you're liking '4', too. I've only listened to it a few times, but I love it!

Great taste! I'm so excited for Janet! She's playing less than 10 minutes from where I live, too. I went a little crazy and got Diamond VIP tickets haha! Have you seen her live before?

I've had the chance to really just marinate in it. I just can't get over it! I love almost every song, which I wasn't expecting. I feel like she made an album that's true to her and not Billboard. It's cohesive. One of the few R&B albums out that I can listen to. I love "Party", "Countdown" & "I Miss You"

I do too, and it's still rapidly growing on me. Even the slew of lackluster singles fits perfectly in the context of the album as a whole. There are a few duds ("Bad Kids," "The Queen," "Highway Unicorn,") but the strength of its finer moments nulls them. I'm very very pleased, I'll be wearing out the majority of it for the months to come LOL.

Hmm... I do think it's strong in the commercial sense, it's really catchy to me. Not as monumental as say, Bad Romance, but catchy nonetheless. I was most disappointed with how unoriginal the music sounded; two parts Express Yourself, one part Vogue, one part Ray Of Light, zero parts GaGa. The spoken intro and outro overcook it too but that's negligible. But if anything, it's a reason to smile -- I can't think of another Pop single that directly confronts homosexuality, and by an artist with such a massive platform at that. So it's a win for me. Not impressed but still pleased.

well, that forum is a flop, so.. hahaha You should post it in other forums too, because it's a great one! Better than those of magazines and sites I've seen. Very encompassing and unbiased, which is rare.

yeah, I check in there from time to time. It's kind of pointless now that Janet's on Facebook, all the news comes from the source. but, it's cool
