Have you listened to Bonobo's not even recent anymore album 'Fragments'? It's been like 4 years since graduating, and I can give myself my own holidays now (big boy pants). Also listen to Dandy's new tune

cray? you must be from around London, all the top swag kids are all about dat cray shit! :P GY!BE is definitely worth getting into, also seeing as you liked Mladic, you might like [track artist=Daturah]Shoal[/track]. I listened to a couple tracks from the new Mount Kimbie album, definitely something worth me getting. I have to say they are, globally, pretty popular! I've never even heard of Lapalux before, will check them out soon and I have 1 exam left! Jeez, maths can be a pain! Also an album I recently laid ears on [album artist=Blue Daisy]The Sunday Gift[/album], amazing album, hard to define it in a genre though (apart from electronic). Also this morning, woke up to BoC's NEW ALBUM OH MY GOSH IT'S AMAZING TOOK LIKE 5 SELFIE'S WITH THE ALBUM UNOPENED THEN IMPORTED THE CD YESYESyes... uh, it's good. I'm not going to tell you (if you haven't listened to it by the time you're reading this) what it's exactly like, what to look out for because that would just be annoying :)

*I immediately recognised [track artist=Mount Kimbie]Would Know[/track] from RadioIO Ambient or at least I think I did... maybe it was another radio station. Crooks & Lovers was a fantastic album either way, definitely one to remember. BoC's Reach For the Dead, fantastic or what?!

hey thanks for recommending me 'Crooks & Lovers', I immediately recognised that tune from RadioIO Ambient (internet radio station I grew up listening to), brings back great memories from 2010! And cheers for the good luck, hope your 3rd year exams go well too :) I haven't listened to much of Bibio's latest album but you're right about [track artist=Bibio]À tout à l'heure[/track], it is quite party-happy. I got into Bibio after listening to [album artist=Bibio]Fi[/album], I heard BoC gave the album a listen and recommended it to [label]Mush Records[/label], it's definitely worth a listen; it's a very leftfield sound. I can understand your view on post-rock, but in quite a lot of post-rock, singing is just not needed, the power and atmospheres are already enough (too much, sometimes, imo) however sometimes there are samples of speaking to fill in the more calmer parts. Have a listen to [track artist=Godspeed You! Black Emperor]Mladic[/track], it's truly a work of art :)

[tag]post-rock[/tag] artists like [artist]God Is an Astronaut[/artist], [artist]Godspeed You! Black Emperor[/artist] or [artist]Hammock[/artist]? (2 of 2, longest comment I've ever made on last.fm, personal records yeah, #swag #2k2013)

Engineering is awesome :) I've got A-level exams at the moment (first year), thinking of studying in the fields of engineering, computing or electronics at uni (depending how well I feel with computing or physics by next year, if I do well enough!) As for upcoming albums, Mount Kimbie I haven't listened to a great deal of, didn't know they had a new album coming. BoC I am SO stoked about (more excited than for Daft Punk, if you listen to them). [artist]Jon Hopkins[/artist] is releasing a new album (very ambient-y) and [artist]Bibio[/artist] has just released a new album which I haven't yet listened to. [artist]Gold Panda[/artist] has a new album coming out next month (if you're into [tag]Chillwave[/tag])... so there's loads to look out for, eh? And cheers for Arcane Roots, it's been a while since I've listened to any alt rock; listened to You Are and Resolve, pretty cool tracks :) don't suppose you listen to any [tag]post-rock[/tag] do you? (1 of 2)

Autechre's a tricky one, took me a while to truly appreciate their work (from their newer stuff, anyway). So I started liking them after listening to [album artist=Autechre]Amber[/album] and [album artist=Autechre]Tri Repetae[/album] (Tri Repetae++ technically). Those albums brought me nostalgia of things I never experienced, t'was truly great :) Also I checked your site, noticed you're a programmer and quite into physics, are you at uni? Rude bear saga's pretty damn cool :)

I reckon you'd like [album artist=Orbital]In Sides[/album] and [album artist=Orbital]Orbital 2[/album] from Orbital. Also if you want some proper psychedelic electronic, you can't go wrong with The Chemical Brothers' [album artist=The Chemical Brothers]Dig Your Own Hole[/album] :)

ah cheers, will be sure to listen to it when I get the time! From what I've listened to already the guy's really diverse and talented, not afraid to delve into hip-hop and jazz! Unrelated, but have you ever listened to [artist]Orbital[/artist]?

Hahaha, yeah, the real work world can be tough, but it can also be much fun, depending where you are. We have shitty projects and often things suck (mostly management and producer decisions), but my team is awesome, we have so much fun at work I have the feeling we're not working at all hahaha! So I hope you find a nice place after university too! At first I loved uni, but after a year or two I just wanted to make money and having to learn for exams anymore :D Oh, my current project is a nice fashion game (cannot begin to explain how much it sucks XD), but the most problems in this project is bad planning, now we didn't have enough time and we work overtime since 2 weeks and we still have 2 weeks of overtime to do, yippie. Yeah, weekend was awesome so far! Chilled out with my boyfriend on Friday and yesterday it was my best friends' birthday party, so loads of fun :) Hope you enjoyed it too? Wow, that was really long, I'm sorry XD Laters!

Hello again! Yeah, people change, and I'm also a lot into stuff now which I would've never thought I would be when still being obsessed with AOF so much, haha! I still listen to them too, but also not that often. It's sad, but what can you do really, haha. There are loads of other awesome bands around and maybe now it's their time :) Do you know what they're planning to play? Any word of it? Well you have to tell me everything anyway then! Oh yes, it was a huge bummer that they had to cancel, especially since it happened the 2nd time in 1 year, but luckily we still see them 5 times until the end of the year (if everything goes well, that is XD). Oh,then I really hope you get to hear Happiness this time! Fingers crossed! But yeah, it's quite sad when you want to hear a song so badly and they don't play it. Same for me with Architects, I'm always waiting for In Elegance and Hollow Crown and they never played it recently!

they arrived at another festival we went too. Always luck with this band hahaha. Anyway! Work is annoying currently, we have overtime and it's a really badly planned project, but it'll pass! The project is supposed to be finished during next month. Really looking forward to this XD But we still have our fun, it's what keeps us going through the day, haha. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :)

Yep, I guess we'll watch Yashin again too, if no-one else is playing at that time we wanna see more. We mainly go for Architects, Bury Tomorrow and Bring Me The Horizon :) But there are some quite other nice bands around, too! Maybe you've already moved on from AOF? I feel a biiit like it too. Right now I feel like I'm more excited for other bands, but then maybe I'm just still sad about them not being a band anymore. I dunno, haha. But cool, on Halloween? Will you dress up?? :D Sounds good, your current life! Mine's good, can't complain, will have a great few next months, with going to the UK being the highlight! Yesterday my friend and I booked our train tickets and looked at a few hotels and hostels. So excited for this! Even though we only looked up everything to cheer us up, as actually we should've been at a festival seeing Bury Tomorrow. But they couldn't come as their drummer has food poisening. Last year when we wanted to see them in July their bus broke down shortly before

Heyyy, you're coming to Warped Tour too?! My friend and I will be coming over for this!! Oh my God :D Who are you going to see? I bet Yashin, eh?! ;) Also, nice, you're going to AOFs farewell tour! I'm a bit jealous! How are you? How's university life going?

'ello! Wow, sounds tough with your studying! What semester are you in? And do you also have to do a lot of practical stuff, not just theory (sorry, I've no clue about engeneering XD)? I don't know, going earlier to bed is not really an option for me, haha. I think sleeping is a waste of time. I come home at 7pm every evening, so if I'd go to bed earlier I would have even less time. And as long as I'm good with it, I do it, haha. "at the tour before they played it more or less every time" Gotta love this pun :D But nice, they seem to play all the songs I really like! I don't think I know their new songs yet, guess I need to check them out :) Oh, we just wanna visit a few places (as I know my friend, she wants to see some stuff when we go there, hehe), and enjoy the scenery! Also we reeeeally want to go to concerts there. So we'll wait and see what comes up :D Are you going to any festivals this year? This is something we also considered, but there's not a lot info on the line-ups yet.

Ahh, university life, I remember that, good times. Just all the learning got always on my nerves, haha. What are you studying? :) I'm working right now, and tired as fuck today because I never go to bed early enough, ehe. Sounds great, can't wait for Yashin :D I love when bands take their time with fans. Especially when they start talking to you first or get members out to say hello and stuff! Does Yashin play the Everytime cover? I gotta say I love this track very much, haha! This year will be awesome I guess! Loads of shows to go to already. And maybe my friend and I visit England for a short trip! Should be nice!

haha, yeah, i guess it's pretty tough to play old songs that the band never plays live. i always wanted to hear little girls, but ha...no way :/ eeeh, what horrible ringing in pulmonary? you mean before the real music kicks in? i kinda love that part :O i saw adtr this summer, it was a kind of mini festival with a lot of other bands (aof were there too :D), and yeah, talk about sweating. i think i never sweated so much, it was disgusting, hahaha. it was 2 days, and of course no open air XD it was like 40 or 45° in this venue, i swear. by the end of saturday evening, my friend and i could barely walk anymore, but it was so worth it :) i'm really looking forward to aof too, of course, but november seems so far away. i hate waiting for concerts! it takes forever till you actually go there, but then it's over in like 5 minutes XDD

yeah, only 6 re-records is not that much, but better than nothing :D and i wish they wouldn't put a new version of boiled frogs, but rather older stuff from the ST or WO! mmmh, i would've loved if they'd re-record it was fear of myself or even sharks and danger. anyways i'm glad they re-recorded you burn first, too. i really hate the voice of the guy who sang it for them, but i loved the drums in it. now...if dallas sings it, hell YES! :D haha, yeah, i should've gotten last.fm sooner too. i listen to aof since 2005, and i only started last.fm in 2008, aaaah xDD yup, mr. highway is a pretty rad song, but actually i like all their songs, there's none that i'd say is bad or i'd skip on a cd :) awesome live band too, saw them just recently.
