Okay, so Romantic music - my favourite composer from that era would have to be Chopin. Check out stuff like his Nocturnes (I recommend his Nocturne in C Sharp Minor, only because I play it :P), and things like Fantasie Impromptu and his Raindrop Prelude. Oh, and Beethoven - he's amazing. He has lots of 'mainstream' stuff - Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, his 5th and 9th symphonies...if you haven't heard any of those, I suggest you do. He also has lots of great piano sonatas - like no. 23, Appassionata. Moonlight Sonata also has a great third movement which hardly anyone listens to. And tons of great symphonies and other stuff. Sorry about that, I seem to have given you enough music for 987217426178421 years! Hopefully some of it was helpful ;D

Thanks! :D Err, right...well, for Baroque music, J.S. Bach is great - you might want to check out his harpsichord concertos (I recommend the No. 1 in D minor), or more 'mainstream' stuff like Air on a G String, etc. If you're searching YouTube, if you type in 'Glenn Gould' and 'Bach' you should find some pretty awesome stuff - Gould is an amazing pianist. Scarlatti has some great keyboard sonatas. I guess you've heard Vivaldi's Four Seasons? If not, try those - I like Winter, but most people have heard Spring. I like Handel's oratorios too - pretty sure you've heard his 'Hallelujah chorus' from The Messiah, but he has some nice piano pieces too. I ran out of room; I'll make a new shout for Romantic XD Sorry for all this information!

Hi Kylian, thanks for the shout about my musical selection... you have some great stuff listed in your charts as well... a few of which I had forgotten about. Glad to see that you like the Tubes... I always thought they deserved more recognition than they got... and Joe Satriani as well... a really great selection. Keep the faith! Rock On!

Thanks, you've got very good bands there too! If you aren't familiar with Sibelius' violin concerto yet, I'd recommend it righ away. It's a true masterpiece. I've been listening to Chopin's pianoworks recently, especially the calm and beautiful ones. They're short and melodic, easy to catch. There're also Maurice Ravel's Bolero, Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony. Just listing some random stuff hoping they'd hopefully delight you. Funny how hard it it's to suddenly come up with something!

No, I'm really Russian :) I started learning Nederlands 2 years ago, and it was rather difficult to pronounce this new for russian ear sounds like 'g', 'ch', and all diftongues. So I decided to listen to some music. Anyway, it helped me very much and now I can easily read and speak Dutch. But moreover, I liked Blof so much and now it is one of my favorite bands :)

Sorry I haven't been in touch. Been battling a bug this past week. Nasty things, bugs. Seems to happen this time every year. I get my flu shot and feel sick for a week. Now if I can just get my building manager to pump in some heat I'll be all nice and cozy. Cough, cough. Hack, hack. Talk soon.
