Berlin, Germany’s capital. The town of junk food, boring politicians, rich cunts, nasty dogshit but also probably the European Punkrock Capital! Berlin has got more to offer than old German history - Berlin’s got the TOWER BLOCKS for example! Founded in the year 2000 it aint definitely no bullshit to talk of them as one of the most ass-kicking discoveries in the Punkrock bizz of the new century!
They combine an aggressive, raw, guitar based sound with sarcastic, vicious lyrics including lots and lots of humour! Lyrics about what happens in everyday life of a Punkrocker or Skinhead! Lyrics about love, football, a bad childhood, alcohol and an ugly girl called Betty!
These guys are the ones to keep the spirit of bands like Oxymoron, The Business, 4 Skins, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and many others alive! But they are much more than just a cheap imitation of another re-union combo! If you think this it’s up to you to prove it and after listening to their sound to say „sorry“ to them, haha!
After hundreds of gigs over Germany and some European countries (for example Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Netherlands, England) the TOWER BLOCKS gang is now ready to conquer the whole world with their catchy tunes that pack a punch made in Germany!
