I think everyone will agree that it takes a little revolution in the world of music, from time to time…
MADISON AFFAIR from Berlin even know how to push it to a further level on their forthcoming debut „Teenage Time“ (Release date Nov. 4th) and show the critics
already in the opener what they're up to: Five charming guys declaring their „New War“!
A post-hardcore monster, coupled with experimental elements of metal, electro, dubstep and incredible guitar solos inevitably paves the way to the rearmost ear canals!
What MADISON AFFAIR want to prove with their terrific mixture of styles, is also underlined by their first released videosingle from „Teenage Time“ - the bombastic „Now Let's Be Honest To The World“: Honesty and authenticity.
It took both of these attributes and hard work for almost a year until singer Florian Michaelis, bassist Laurent Astfalk, drummer Simon Weisberg and the two left founding members of the band, guitarists Yuri Chernavolov and Timo Mukimov had finally found and created exactly the sound they wanted to have on the album – and the result is absolutely thrilling!!!
Today, MADISON AFFAIR present theirselves that matured that it seems this fantastic record was written to say goodbye to their own „Teenage Time“ in 9 incredibly passionate, diverse and sometimes epic songs.
This record sounds that untypically german, that even well-known acts from Asking Alexandria, Of Mice And Men, Woe Is Me, Attack!Attack!, We Came As Romans,… to We Butter The Bread With Butter and His Statue Falls (with whom they already shared the stage several times and will do again in 2011), will know and definitely fear the uprising monster MADISON AFFAIR from Berlin, very very soon - „Promised“!!!
