ENEIDA MARTA is a singer born in Guinea Bissau with a voice of African root truly spectacular.
Descendant of a family of artistic culture, mainly as a result of her father, artist from cape verde, and began to work at a very small voice and display it in the infantile stages of competitions voice and interpretation.

ENEIDA MARTA es una cantante nacida en Guinea Bissau con una voz de raíz africana realmente espectacular.
Descendiente de una familia de cultura artística, principalmente a raíz de su padre, artista de origen Cabaverdiano, empezó ya desde muy pequeña a trabajar su voz y mostrarla en los escenarios infantiles de concursos de voz e interpretación.
Unos años más tarde, emigró hacia Portugal, donde continuó haciendo aquello que más le gustaba, cantar. Frecuentó aulas de canto y continuó presentándose a los concursos de voz para promocionarse y abrirse camino.
Más tarde, conoció a su Juca Delgado, uno de los más importantes productores de música africana en Portugal que apostó por ella, cogiendo a ENEIDA MARTA para Ya con su primer disco en solitario "Nô Stória" (Nuestra historia) editado por Maxi Music (Portugal) en el año 2001 y producido por Juca Delgado, empezó a actuar en Cabo Verde, Francia, Holanda, Alemania, Guinea Bissau y Portugal arrancando favorables críticas del público y de los medios de comunicación por esta artista revelación.
Con su segundo trabajo, ENEIDA MARTA se convirtió en una nueva referencia musical y despertó el interés de Editoras como "Putumayo", "Club Star" y "JPS Production"; americana, alemana y francesa respectivamente.
Fue finalmente con la Editora Putumayo de Estados Unidos con la que ENEIDA MARTA participa con su tema "Na Bu Mons" de su primer disco "Nô Stória" para un recopilatorio dedicado a la música de las colonias africanas de Portugal "An Afro-Portuguese Odyssey" en el año 2002. Este vínculo, le abrió las puertas al reconocimiento internacional de su entrañable música y su espectacular voz posicionándola en listas de primera línea en los medios de comunicación.
En el 2002, ENEIDA MARTA vuelve a sorprender a los medios de comunicación y a su público fiel con su segundo disco "Amari" (Amor de mi vida); un maxi-single donde rinde homenaje a la música de Guinea Bissau y Cabo Verde, donde canta en árabe mostrando su lado artístico más inquieto y polifacético.
Desde sus inicios, ENEIDA MARTA ha estado presente en numerosos escenarios europeos y medios de comunicación internacionales, además de haber colaborado con un gran número de álbumes recopilatorios de distinta índole, así como discos de artistas de gran reconocimiento musical dentro del panorama actual africano:

2003 - "Para Álem da Música". Disco editado por CIC-Portugal para recaudar fondos de ayuda humanitaria en Africa.
2004 - "Mindjer" de Nino Galissa (Guinea Bissau)
2005 - "Santa Mariazinha" de Caló Pascoal (Angola)
Entre muchos otros.

En enero del 2006 presenta su tercer disco "Lôpe Kai" editado por Iris Music (Francia), a partir del cual se inicia la primera gira europea de ENEIDA MARTA "Tour Lôpe Kai 2006-2007".
En la intensa obra Eneida Marta y Juca Delgado exploran gran variedad de estilos. Gumbe, Singa, Tina, matices de Gospel (abundantes y pulcros coros) y Jazz. Todo envuelto en un erotismo pleno. ("La factoria del ritmo").
Disco muy prometedor ya que en Junio del 2005 gana un concurso en Portugal situándose en primera posición dentro de la categoría de "World Music" con la canción "Mindjer Dôlce Mel" y a raíz de ésta se edita su primer videoclip. Así mismo, este tema se encuentra también dentro del recopilatorio "Acoustic Africa" que presentó Putumayo World Music.
ENEIDA MARTA se ha convertido en una nueva promesa dentro el panorama musical actual, recogiendo influencias musicales y vocales de cualquier parte del mundo, trabaja siempre por el camino del espectáculo musical acústico.

Dans un brassage de percus, guitares, choeurs… de rythmes ensoleillés mais pas ensommeillés, la voix de cette chanteuse venue de Guinée - Bissau chaloupe, subtile de caresse et le vent en poupe.

Eneida Marta est restée imprégnée des musiques traditionnelles de son pays dont les textes et musiques sont inspirés du quotidien : célébration des petits moments de la vie, de solidarité, des femmes. Une musique animée par le courage et la lutte. Son répertoire de chansons fait valser les langues (fula, biafada, bejago, mandjako, mankhane, etc.) sur des registres variés, de tempi alanguis aux cadences remuantes. Elle aborde avec verve des compositions originales de sonorités modernes et traditionnelles, nées, inspirées des rythmes et mélodies métissées de Guinée - Bissau.
