NBC TV, USA "Rock N America" telecast comic blues-"They Say" -singer/writer/director/producer-his music video was well reviewed by the Los Angeles TiMES, 3/17/85, better than U2 & Phil Collins.
Canada's Much Music telecast, at Christmas 1986-93, his comic art rock video, a Billy Idol Christmas Parody-"Dancing with My ELF " -called "Hilarious" by the American Film Institute, & "Brilliant,Funny" by MuchMusic, Toronto. It also was requested to be Re Telecast for Xmas 2008.
Directed a music video for virtuoso lead guitarist, Jennifer Batten,"Flight of the Bumblebee" for her solo album.
He has a small role in the 1988 feature rock comedy-"TapeHeads" a Michael Nesmith ( the Monkees ) co-production with NBC.
Steve McCambridge is in the American TV union- AFTRA, and was admitted to the American songwriters guild-ASCAP, in 1984
Steven Spielberg bought a short 16mm film clip of McCambridge's for his CBS TV New Year's Eve special, '99/'00, from Washington, D.C.
McCambridge was a USA national finalist in the College Oscars, from Colorado State/Fort Collins, as writer/director/actor.
The great writer/producer, Larry Gelbart (Emmy & double Tony winner) gave McCambridge this quote after viewing Steve's short comic films:
" Incredible energy, you've got some funny stuff."
