Miroist matches the intense grooves of instrumental djent and progressive metal with the deep ambient washes of post-rock, post-metal and electronica. Thick, dark, brooding and intense textures combine with muscular, weighty grooves. The Pledge EP mixed dexterous riffing with guitar soundscapes, but on debut album CURVE, released March 2014 Miroist brings the sound to full maturity. Both releases are available for free at http://miroist.com.
Formed in London in 2011, Miroist is a one-man metal project. Regular updates can be found on the official Facebook page.
