A tag for folk music and for music which is significantly influenced by folk music and which retains many of the characteristics of folk music. This music is usually entirely or almost entirely acoustic and often involves storytelling which may incorporate rural themes or archaic stylings. It stretches all the way to "New Weird America" and similar genres.
