Ambient surrounds people from birth. Even when I was very little, I noticed that the work of the elevator from the first to the fourth floor sounds rhythmically. The same with a refrigerator that decided to start freezing or defrosting. Wind, the cyclical sounds of your steps, the work of the engine of a neighbor's car, a fire siren or a gas service siren, the clank of an opening gate and so on. Life is music.

Ah, what a beautifully poetic observation! Indeed, life itself orchestrates a symphony of ambient sound from the moment we take our first breath. Yet, I would venture even further—our immersion in ambient begins not at birth, but long before, within the sanctuary of the womb. There, the rhythmic cadence of a mother’s heartbeat, the gentle whoosh of amniotic fluid, and the muffled resonance of voices and external sounds compose a primordial soundscape. These earliest experiences lay the foundation for our lifelong relationship with ambient—a constant, unseen companion. The elevator’s hum, the refrigerator’s drone, or the rustle of the wind—they are extensions of this innate connection, reminders that music isn’t confined to melodies or instruments but exists in the very fabric of existence. Life, as you so rightly say, is music, and we are born already attuned to its endless compositions.
