Radiohead has always been pro-peace/2 state solution, this is more of the same + they oppose the genocide commited by Netanyahu explicitly.

i don't remember reading the word "genocide" in his lame post, and he mentioned the 7th of october, what for? does he really believe it started it all? when he'd been asked to boycott israel to oppose the apartheid numerous times before that? yorke is a coward, a hypocrite and a fraud. he shouldn't have advertised himself as an activist. this part is too big for him. my guess is he tried to not lose more of his audience with this stupid post, but he'll be left with the least politically conscious, the most racist, and the dumbest parts of his fans. those who like creep above the better songs. and he did that to himself.

One state solution, Free Palestine, Israelis have no right to set up an ethno-state and treat Palestinians with starvation and displacement, called "animals" by Israeli top officials, Palestinians are segregated and denied self determination, this did not start in Oct 7th, Palestinians have been displaced and killed as natives of the land, no group has the right to kill thousands of children, women and men for the actions of a Resistance group such as Hamas, a group mostly composed of orphans created through Israel "mowing the lawn" tactics, this occupation and apartheid has been ongoing for 77 years, no more.

Sure, but Israel is much worse. How many innocent people has Hamas killed and how many innocent people has Israel killed?

Indeed. That’s largely in part because this hit job on him is in no way organic. It’s orchestrated and people fall in line; as you say, they want to feel important. It’s entirely motivated by self-serving onanism. I’m not even a massive Radiohead fan, but the Salman Rushdieism of modern life is terrifying. Yorke predicted much of these dark repetition loops of evil in the human psyche in many of his own lyrics, ironically, or prophetically.

This guy would rather talk about how depressed he is and how Hamas and hostages have anything to do with the conversation of Genocide in Gaza, all to stay in good graces with his occupier bandmate, fuck you Thom spineless rat. Free Palestine, 76 years under western colonial occupation and apartheid.

Yorke is a far better man than any of the people here with the intellectual reasoning, understanding and wisdom of fucking children, illogically excoriating him because it entered transient fashion (and not at all in any kind of organic way, either).

Right! Especially considering that all three of his albums are _really_ good. After having listened to all that Radiohead had to offer up to and including the brilliant "Moon Shaped Pool" (which will probably be their last album I guess) I started to have a bit of a sadness..) And then decided to check if Yorke had a solo discography as well (which he happened to indeed have, thankfully).

Condemns Netanyahu but not Zionism, why does he selectively avoids systemic critique of Israel as a state?, he's not a Zionist but performs in Israel and rejects BDS as if normalizing an apartheid is totally cool and not in support of Zionism at all, just cuz Greenwood’s has Zionist ties does not mean he has to talk only in Israeli state narratives. You can't apply a "Both sides" rhetoric to a Genocide.
