Formation and Dark Roots are still two of my favorites, also both were excellent tours to catch!!

The Legacy > Souls of Black > The Formation of Damnation > The New Order > Practice What You Preach > all the other stuff, some of which is pretty decent.

>Buy CD/Vinyl/Digital from HDTracks/Bandcamp/where ever it's available >Rip the physical media and tag it yourself on foobar2000/media player of choice, there's a plugin where you can autotag with MusicBrainz info >If you can't afford it just use slsk because streaming is just regulated piracy anyway >Buy merch and go to shows when you can >??? >Everyone still profits (as much as they can, anyway)

I'm 0.5% Navajo, so Chuck and I are pretty much brothers. The wood paneled walls of my stale Marlboro-scented trailer is covered in dream catchers and polyester banners decorated with wolves howling at full moons. I eat steak from Dollar General. Do you think Chuck would sign my VHS copy of Dances With Wolves?

One of those bands that got better with time for me! Low will forever be my personal fave, and all albums from that onwards has been absolutely killer! Ofc i love the older stuff too, but idk, somehow they got heavier from the mid-90s onwards, and i prefer Chuck's voice when it got deeper too, as much as i love the vocals on the early albums too! Not to mention his growls on those mid-to-late-90s albums were awesome!

Nah, much, MUCH, better. Tho i really like the first Annihilator too, and Criteria for a Black Widow, but haven't really listened to them that much, somewhat inconsistent band based on what i've heard. Can't say the same about Testament.

I never quite could get into Testament when I was younger, but hell, don't know what happened, must be something to do with me being 30 soon xD After 100th try, I am finally digging Testament!

Have seen this band twice and twice they dissapointed me, sadly. I mean, they are great, obviously, but both times had awful sound system, you could barely hear the instruments and vocals. That's so not professional.

Low's their best to me, followed by Demonic and The Gathering, but they've really been killing it lately too. Rare case of a band that got better later on to me, and i still love their early stuff too.

I always thought Testament were a bit boring...until I discovered The Gathering. Such a heavy slab of Metal!

In my opinion, Slayer play such crystallized thrash that they actually mean the same to the genre as Elvis does to rock and roll.

Dave Mustaine refuses to recognize testament. Dave likes Exodus better. Dave thinks testament is a late comer to the thrash scene. I own low on cd. I prefer the Bonded by Blood remaster with the original cover.

Welcome back Dave Lombardo!!!! Gene Hoglan put in 10 years behind the kit for these guys & I really enjoyed his work on the 3 albums he did with them during that time. He's one of the best metal drummers out there. It's a shame he had to leave due to scheduling conflicts. But as soon as I saw they announced that Dave Lombardo was back with them, I instantly bought my ticket to their upcoming tour. The Gathering is my favorite Testament album so I'm super stoked that he's back with them now! I'm looking forward to watching him tear it up with them!!!!
