no its just not as good as her other work. it stripped the charm by being more posh. feels like she's taking the Death Cab for Cutie career trajectory, recycling the same melancholy but with slicker production.

I wish the electric guitar had a more prominent presence in her music, like in songs as "Heat Wave" and "Valentine".

Really like this album already. Definitely a different sound from her previous work but in a good way. Production feels like a massive step up for me, as well as her vocals. Favourite tracks so far are probably Headlock and Madonna.
