Saw Sigur Rós last night and they were just incredible. There aren't any words in any language that can describe the feeling I felt when watching them perform with the philharmonic orchestra. Ethereal, haunting, incredibly raw- these words just don't cut it. It was just so surreal. Thank you Sigur Rós, thank you Jónsi, for allowing me to appreciate that I was alive and in the right place to experience such a performance. Man..

I love post rock but sigur ros is a Band that still never clicked on me.. idk, is good but lacks THAT thing made them more than good for me like gorge trio, swans, gybe etc

Не так давно переслушал все альбомы и убедился, что все еще неоднозначно к ним отношусь, мне как-то проще этой группе заочно симпатизировать, чем слушать их. Никогда не любил дебютник, он хоть и с колоритом, но какой-то совсем пустой, как и не любил облизанный почти всеми (), считая его релизом всратого названия, проходняка и одной хорошей песни, но при этом с большой теплотой отношусь к Takk и даже Kveikur. ну а последний их альбом с этими недоэмбиентами вышел абсолютно галимый, как и предшествующий миньон.
