Biography
Patricia (Paty) Sirvent Bartón, also known as Patylu, was born in Mexico City, Mexico on Jun 3, 1983. She started her singing career at the age of 12 along with 3 other girls in the girl band Jeans becoming one of the most popular teen pop bands during the 90's and early 2000's. She was part of this band for 13 years, becoming the leader and the only member that would stay in the band since the beginning, 1995. She along with other members that joined the band while others would leave, recorded 8 studio albums, 3 special editions, some of them including DVD's, and 1 live album. In 2008, Jeans decided to split up, each girl going on separate ways. Later, Paty changed her stage name to Patylu and also became a children's songwriter and singer. Since then, she's come out with her debut solo album, "La casita de Patylu" (Patylu's little house). She's also expecting to get her own children's TV show that it's probably going to be promoted by Televisa.
