Failed at Math(s) is the debut LP record by the British rock band Panchiko, following their July 2020 compilation album, Ferric Oxide.
The record was first announced via Instagram on February 12, 2023, where the band stated:
"We’re very happy to announce that we will release our new LP Failed at Math(s) on May 5, 2023. Followed by a US tour!"
On March 7, 2023, Panchiko released the lead single “Failed at Math(s).”
The second lead single “Until I Know” was released on March 30, 2023—being a revised version of its original release in 2020.
The final single, “Portraits” followed suit two weeks later, on April 12, 2023.
The band released a statement about the album's release on their official Bandcamp page:
"We're very happy to release our brand new album 'Failed At Math(s)' into the world!
It's been lovely to finally finish songs that we started writing 23 years ago, and to write and produce new songs together again after so many years.
We'd really like to thank everyone who's supported us over the last three years. Playing shows all around the world and releasing new pop music to our incredible Panchiko friends is a real treat and a dream we never thought would be realised not so long ago.
We really hope you enjoy the new pop music!"
