Check out the song "Saturdays" by Cut Copy or anything off of their "Bright Like Neon Love" album, it was also released around the same era as Fantastic Playroom, with lots of funky bass guitar throughout. Also, Kudu's "Death of The Party" album is another gem.

Also The Rapture's "The Devil" or The Rapture's "Get Myself Into It" both from the "Pieces of The People We Love" (2006) album.

I loved the summer this came out. I loved the entire year of 2007. It was a great year in my life, especially in music. So glad I have this tune as a memory for the time capsule.

Listening to their newer stuff and comparing it to this, I must say, they were at their peak with this and the tunes off of "Fantastic Playroom."

I'm gonna give this comment a +1 b/c it really typifies the energy and atmosphere of this tune: such a good song for a dark room with a group of strangers . .. Colors+rum+weed= [[: [3]

I was living this song for a few years. The atmosphere of it wouldn't let me go. Classic tune from the Noughties.

this song needs official videoclip, i see las vegas club scene, red shark cruising along the desert, and a gig gone way wrong.. fear and loathing in the new young pony club

I'm SO glad I saw them perform this live when I did back in Oct. 07. That was the LAST time I saw them and heard a peep out of them. Crazy. LOVE THIS fucking addiction of a SONG.
