If you are only limiting yourself to bands that have "not that short" albums at 35 minutes long, then you are really doing your ears a disservice. You can easily find out that on average, metal albums are indeed much longer and being this short on time are only from a few select genres, metalcore in particular. Either that, or the band doesn't have much to say or offer.

Well Adam D and Howard's sideproject are coming out with a album later this year, the band is called Burn Eternal.

Really liked the new album, felt the "let's go back to basics" from Alive or Just Breathing in some themes and loved it.

I like the new single. The chorus is instantly stuck in my head. Thanks KSE for keeping old-school Metalcore alive as AILD is literally dead.

They sounds like more In Flames their first album somehow. I can even here album´Colony/Clayman together.

Strange cause there's barely any melody on there first release although Clayman was released around the same time so theres definitely influences. I found Killswitch starts to sound more like In Flames after Jesse leaves. Loads more melody in the guitars for sure. Ironically Ive just started Clayman haha

A significant group for me. I listened to her so much in the 2000s. I remember being so upset when Howard left the group. But Jesse still didn’t disappoint, although I always liked the first ones with him, but they were straight metalcore, and I loved melodic metalcore. At first I thought with Jesse the group would begin to degrade back to the first albums, but with him the group very cleverly juggles with hardcore and melodicism, so it’s definitely great!

SAME. I had two opportunities to watch them live but was there for other bands like 15 years ago and kicking myself for not paying attention and/or being at the merch tables when they were on. So glad they're still touring but obviously would've been awesome to see them during Howard's time. Still love love everything they do!
