Indicative of the angst the band were famous for at the time, this song is a precursor to the more popular “Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous” that came next on the album. It was a mildly successful single, with a music video that proudly sported all the pop-punk tropes of the time: black clothes, skating, performance videos and spiked hair. As the second single from the record, it was instrumental helping the band achieve a triple platinum certification in the US.
