Really gonna miss Zetro. Dukes is cool and all, but makes the band sounds generic. Zetro is THE voice of Exodus.

Could have split up after Bonded By Blood. That album has quite the legacy in metal for a reason.

Zetro was cool too, but Rob's aggressiveness is what caught me. Welcome back \m/

Exodus plans on releasing 2 albums by spring. Like 22 tracks. They're going big with this.

Really not bothered by this news tbh. I will always respect the hell out of Zetro, but there are 7 Exodus albums that I can always revisit. Rob Dukes firing on the other hand felt rather abrupt, so I'll be satisfied if the new album is the only one they make with his return.

I'm not a huge fan of a few thrash metal vocalists, namely Overkill and Exodus, but the thrash is excellent and primarily the reason I enjoy both bands so to me it doesn't matter. It's interesting though I see many Exodus fans disappointed Zetro is gone and replaced by Dukes (again). Long as their new album will be thrashy, I'll be happy.

One time I made myself a battle jacket and was super happy with the patches I had on it and then I put it on and realized I looked like someones gay aunt who won't come out and has a new "friend" at every family reunion.

Ah, truly a tale for the ages! A battle jacket, bold and bedecked, only to reveal not the fearsome warrior but the fabulous enigma of the family tree. A vision of the gay aunt archetype, mysterious "friend" in tow, is no small achievement—one might even argue it’s an art form. Wear it proudly, for every patch tells a story, and if that story happens to include a delightful dash of unspoken truths and playful subversion, all the better. Your sartorial saga is a triumph of character over conformity.

Listen to S.O.D.'s second album Bigger Than The Devil. It's better than Speak English Or Die.

Ah, dear, thy missive doth possess a certain rustic charm, though its meaning may prove elusive to those unversed in the vernacular of our modern age. "Mull up," thou sayest, with images of leaf and flame, bowl and breath. Is this a call to camaraderie by the fireside, perchance, where tales are spun and simple pleasures shared? Or dost thou summon a more arcane rite of conviviality, hinted at by thy peculiar symbols? Whatever thy intent, I trust the gathering shall be merry and the air redolent with good cheer. Pray, do enlighten us further.

I’ve come to realize lately that the Rob Dukes era was absolutely killer. Shovel and Exhibit B in particular are both crushing.

I think “Blood In Blood Out” is undeservedly underestimated. It’s my favorite.

I never got into them much outside of Bonded by Blood and Shovel Headed Kill Machine unfortunately, but maybe i'll have to try more, i've only heard Pleasures of the Flesh and Tempo of the Damned along with those. I always had a problem with Zetro's voice so far, he sounds like Bobby Blitz but worse to me, but then again it took me a while to fully get into Blitz' vocals too, however, i've liked Overkill from the start still so idk. Either way, Bonded is surely one of the best Thrash albums ever recorded and i wish they did more with Baloff on vocals, maybe i'd like them better then too.

Good Riddance is my favorite anti climate/environmentalist anthem. These people are so obsessed over "man made" climate change when people on this planet treat one another like shit. Uprooting entire industries in order to make themselves happy. if they spent the time being obsessed with helping others instead of hurting them, or just leave people alone the world would be a better place. Selfishness, greed and control is what is killing the world. I'll happily drive a gas hog V8 smog machine while blasting this song because worrying over climate change is just silly. Focus on real problems like homelessness, selfishness and hatred. We'll be long gone before the planet dies.

People should be relaxed and enjoying their time on earth if we just let people be.

Well the issue is that greed and control is what causes climate change. Climate change made from individuals is a tiny little fraction compared to the pollution caused by corporations. Its not silly to worry about climate change. It affects us and impedes on our time on earth. We cant be relaxed and enjoy earth if the air hurts to breath. Maybe you havent seen anything in the little town you live in but places near oil refineries or where all the electricity is fossil fuel based the sky can turn gray and breathing is hard. Imagine all the homeless people living in those areas. The planet might not die because its a giant rock, but humans will definitely suffer through it.

I also drive a gas guzzling car. But I do my part by recycling properly, and voting for better local alternatives like public transportation or switching to less damaging electricity production and consumption.

Further, my statement is based on forcing the end of fossil fuels. Just stop oil organization is just an example of we have to leave the oil in the ground to get people off of it by force. It's not really the people's fault (though the dependency on fossil fuels is humanity's fault in the first place) but we're mostly born into a fossil fuel driven economy, it's not as easy as turning off a switch or like some people's solution is to drive an electric vehicle so your alternative is, can we improve on the fossil fuel manufacturing process and use. It probably won't be perfect and you may also have to relocate those who don't want to be in that environment but it beats running out of oil because people decided to keep fossil fuels buried.

spineshank155
Millions rely on fossil fuels every day and if the cost to live is too great, there will still be suffering. There's no reason we can't provide alternatives, but we can do that while continuing using fossil fuels. Modern cars already use less oil, less fuel and are more efficient and burn cleaner than they were in the 80s and 90s. Whether we can improve on that or not its still not an excuse to cut off fossil fuels. The extraction of battery materials is not environmentally friendly either. Neither is our way of life. We can make it better, but not trampling over everyone in the world trying to get by.

Pollution is one of the problems we can't always avoid. Whether its natural and you have an infestation of rodents or you get a strong smell of sewage from human waste its somewhere. While yes, fossil fuels is often dirty though we can offer cleaner methods in drilling and refining. I'm sure you can look up that in America we have older refineries, its unclear if they've been updated but without knowing the specific places "where the sky is gray" due to fossil fuel drilling, refining or usage is a pretty broad statement, without understanding whether those areas can be cleaner. I understand the basis of the reasons of wanting cleaner energy resources. What I don't understand is we have to destroy our existing energy resources in order to make that happen
