Everything without exception that Carla Bozulich makes is magic erupting from a volcano of genious. This is what music is about: raw, intense, fragile, powerful, wise, poetic, sensual, desperate, imaginative, brilliant, tender and so extremely talented journeys into new and old parts of existence. Carla Bozulich is such an inspiring artist in this world, I am sure that mountains and several huge forests are breathing partly through some of her brave melodies. A natural force with a rare rare gift for making music mean so very much and be so deeply moving. I cannot recommend her music enough. Go see it, hear it, buy it and breathe it. Generosity in sound.

ugh i just saw them in montreal but i had to leave early to catch the bus home... as soon as nels cline pulls out a trumpet and the girl starts screaming about virgins i have to go home. what a shame.
