I hope he keeps doing collab albums. Really enjoyed the Brandi album and even more so The Union with the late Leon Russell.

Amidst the vast body of incredibly outstanding works of Elton, "The One" - while not commonly counted among his seminal efforts - remains a go-to album for those who want to try him from a different angle - they should give it a go with "Sweat It Out" and melt in the incredibly fresh (yet so pleasureably dated, as of nowadays) labyrinth of unconventional sonic solutions, retro-futuristic ornamentation and jazzy, frivolous and piercing solos of this absolutely stunning, deep and psychedelic, mysterious hidden gem. Otherwise a great, solid, experimental and mature album portraying a late coming of age of the artist settled in on a finally secure and steady leg of his exciting creative path.

I'm not the biggest fan of Elton and I don't like everything. His 70s albums are, for me personally, the most "progressive" stuff.

probably (IM0), the most definitive and melodic artist from 1970s (in my generation) - there were many- but he gets me every time with so many of his songs.... too many to name - but here goes, levon, tiny dancer, someone saved my life tonight, rocket man, don't let the sun go down on me, ticking, candle in the wind, funeral for a friend/love lies bleeding, goodbye yellow brick road, daniel, sorry seems to be the hardest word, song for guy, i feel like a bullet ( in the gun of robert ford), empty garden (hey hey johnny), burn down the mission, we all fall in love sometimes, tower of babel, captain fantastic and the brown dirt cowboy, skyline pigeon, madman across the water, friends, border song, circle of life, can you feel the love tonight... these my most favorites.

I love, love, love Elton John. But I thought I was the only one who despised that song.
