“CHARGER (Charli XCX Rework)” is a reworked version of a song by British singer ELIO. The song was reworked by British singer songwriter Charli XCX who also lend her vocals for the second verse and chorus.
The remix which is going to be included on ELIO’s mixtape called “the remixes“ was teased on the same day the original version was released. Then in early February 2020 it was confirmed on ELIO’S Instagram page when she was sharing list of some songs she’s been obsessed with lately.
A few hours before the song was released on streaming platforms, ELIO confirmed that there was going to be a music video released along the song, which was filmed in quarantine and includes both the singers, although separate.
