Biography

Emmanuelle de Héricourt mainly works with analogical instruments and composes a gentle yet dark electropop that mixes the voices of eerie crooners, eighties reminiscences and her delicate singing.

EDH released her first album on the Japanese label Intik and then worked on Hypo’s fourth album (RV) – they co-wrote the explosive track ‘Free Days’. Their collaboration continued on the LP ‘‘The Correct Use of Pets’’ in 2006. EDH has recently started to work with the labels Lentonia (Paris) and Matte Black (managed by the rapper Subtitle in Los Angeles) and is now releasing three new records – an album that she composed while living in New York in 2001 and a 6 songs record on which the bass guitar is given a decisive sound. This new direction is confirmed in her new album ‘’Predature’’ (released by Lentonia).
