Biography
Darren Williams was born in 1960. He was an imagintive child from a young age. He grew up in his home village of Meopham, Kent, UK. Influenced by the dawning space age and music as varied from Motorhead to Hawkwind. Later in life he was to discover eJay software which enabled him to achieve his music dreams.
After leaving school he took an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, working for an American owned company called British Twin Disc which made gearboxes and clutches for John Deer, Colchester lathes and he was earmarked to travel the world as a site technician. In the last year of his apprenticeship, the company folded and he found himself unemployed by redundancy.
He started a company called Worldwide Stunts and hired himself and equipment out to perform motorcycle stunts. For seven years he sucessfully travelled the world, jumping over cars, doing wheelies, fire stunts, precision driving, working in films, TV adverts, road safety campaigns, Helldrivers vehicle shows and police open days, where he performed live crashes to show how efficient the emergency services were at the scene of road traffic accidents.
By the time he had reached his thirties, he started promoting his book "Read Between the Lines" which was about Dynamic ID Perception (or positive thinking and visualising goals) which he used as a vehicle to recover from a major nervous breakdown that saw him unable to pursue his stunt career and he turned to electronic music.
To date he has produced nine albums and it is by no mean feat of achievement that he has managed to continue, dogged with mental illness throughout his midlife he found consolance with eJay. His latest album PURE TIME is the result from evolution over more than twenty years producing music with various versions of eJay software, mixed in with some of the newer quality samples available from ejay.
