Biography

Fin is an exceptional self-taught guitar player, well held by the roots of the old school. A warm and soothing voice carries his thought provoking lyrics of issue and contemplation. Influences of the great solo guitar and voice masters like Nick Drake, Bert Jansch and Paul Simon are evident within Fin's music.

The boy was born in the north of bonnie Scotland to a family entangled with the dying trade of North Sea fisherman. He grew there for ten years before being re-located to several towns in middle England, but the salt of the sea ran in his veins and the teenager wanted his endless horizon back. The young man travelled far to eventually find a place that had the fresh air, coastline and company he was looking for; the South West. It was here, living in his camper-van, his music developed and he began to attract attention.

Now in his mid twenties, Fin has fronted several bands and collectives from the orchestrated folk jazz of 'Navas' to the jaw dropping, ear opening music of 'The Wild Flowers'. More recently Fin can be found as a headlining solo act, who's accolades include; featuring alongside 4Hero on a compilation CD and notable supports like the most recent for a sell out 'Natty' tour.
