I saw them in Brussels. The sound, visiuals, performance was all brilliant. The lights changing to the song and it was just magical. If you’ve been a long time listener this will make sense. A different memory with each song, a different season and location. But Victoria’s voice is heavenly. I don’t know how to describe it. I would love to have a cup of coffee with her.

saw them a second time at kilby block party 🥹 if you dont mind me sharing my experience: it was expectedly magical. i was at the very front and had waited all day (i got to see slowdive too!) and before the show started i saw alex soundchecking the signature Scallycaster; not too long after that he was in the storage booths(?) next to the stage and we made awkward eye contact for a split second 😭😭 they played a few songs i hadnt heard live last time, like black car, wildflower, beyond love, and more. they all sounded unreal, especially james on percussion. silver soul and over and over are live highlights imo. just before they played wildflower vic accidentally hit the button on her keyboard that plays elegy to the void and i got so excited 😭 if they ever play near you or you get any chance to see them, SEE THEM! without exaggeration it will change your life

It was such a good show and I was also heartbroken abt the Elegy to the Void tease </3 the show was really 7-heavy I feel like they played a ton of songs from that album. Was really hoping to hear new romance live but overall best concert ever I'd give anything to see them again

dont listen to their music like i used to but their discog is a world of its own. would just binge their albums start to end and then do it again a week later because it's so special and so magical. soft, gentle, but undeniably powerful as well , there is nothing like Beach House

Streaming absolutely kills their music with compression. Do yourself a favour and listen to them on vinyl.

Truly majestic. I remember tho that when it was released it got a lukewarm reception, after the single 'Sparks' people expected it to be more shoegazey I guess. Cool how it became a classic regardless.
