They won a Norwegian grammy for their 2011 album Solar Anus.

Pretty cool. Definitely hear a Shellac vibe on Solar Anus as well as some good old Melvins influence. Which album earned them a Grammy, I wonder?

this band is still criminally fucking overlooked. they are AMAZING

It's criminal how under-attended (probably) all the US dates have been/will be, they were easily one of the best/engaging metal/hard rock acts I've seen in a long time. Anytime I band can grab my attention and force me to keep my eyes on them deserves much praise. I definitely enjoyed the fact they played alot of material from their self-titled effort, which was the first thing I've sat down with so far.

They remind me a lot of Cornbugs (Bill Moseley, Buckethead collaboration) Especially the vocals.

I regret I can not be in Norway for the release concert. I am sure this will blow anyone away. Go there if you can. I wish I could. So much. If god was an album, god would be that new Arabrot album, you know. Wrathful, painful, nihilistic, and beautiful all at the same time. <3

New Single is awesome. But the new album beats everything. I'm a German Journalist and I will review it. Still hard to put in words just how awesome this is. I never wrote a recommendation into any shoutbox, but I have to say, when that album will be out on the 16th of August (at least in Germany, don't know about other release dates), go get it! You won't regret it. Arabrot's new album beats everything including their own other albums. I can't stop playing that, on and on. I mean, yes, I am a fan, but I still was surprised this is even so much better than anything they did before. Arabrot Hardcore-Fans may all add me here!!! I know there aren't much of us, I'd like to get to know some of you though!
