Description
I’m in heaven
And my heart beats so that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find the happiness I seek
When we’re out together dancing cheek to cheek
#C2C17: cheek to cheek, seventeenth edition of Club To Club, the leading Italian avant-pop Festival , will be held in Turin, Italy from 1st to 7th November 2017, during the Contemporary Art Week, in synergy with a calendar of events that once a year turns Italy’s most elegant and regal city into the European capital of contemporary culture for a week. An extra-large programme for a bill that looks like the biggest ever.
After the shows of last years by Franco Battiato – Joe Patti’s experimental group, Thom Yorke – leader of Radiohead, DJ Shadow, Autechre and hundreds of other extraordinary artists – the Festival will take place as always in unique and amazing locations such as the newly renewed OGR of Corso Castelfidardo, the post-industrial pavilions of Lingotto and the majestic Reggia di Venaria, and will host artists among the most important names in the international musical and creative scene.
Partners and previews
As always, the festival is made possible by the precious contribution of prestigious institutional and private partners, that do not limit themselves to support economically the project but contribute to its definition: Regione Piemonte, Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRT this year will be paired by Main Partner Absolut – the iconic Swedish vodka that throughout the year will transform Italian nights thanks to the innovative format #ABSOLUTNIGHTS – and Audi, with whom Club To Club recently launched the new summer festival VIVA! in Valle d’Itria (Apulia); the partnerships with Red Bull Music Academy, a truly essential global reference that has been working side by side with Club To Club for six years to promote and support the best creative expressions in the music field, and KLM, Official Carrier of the festival in 2016 that will offer discounts to reach Turin thanks to initiatives such as Flying Blue and Global Meetings, were renewed.
As usual, the festival will be preceded by a series of preview events that will touch Milan and Turin (for instance, the dance performance To be banned from Rome will debut on 26th October at Lavanderia a Vapore di Collegno, in collaboration with Torinodanza.
