Description
On Thursday 6th February, Bedrock returns to London for the first time since last October’s unforgettable 15th Anniversary celebrations. Taking place in the industrial surroundings of Village Underground for the very first time, label boss John Digweed will play an exclusive five hour set. Showcasing his deep, tech-laced sound, this will be one of John’s most intimate sets in the Capital in recent years.
Having performed in twenty seven different countries in 2013, last year proved to be another standout twelve months for John. A hugely popular summer residency at Pacha Ibiza witnessed John DJ alongside the likes of Fritz Kalkbrenner, DJ Sneak, Monika Kruse and Nic Fanciulli, whilst Bedrock commemorated its fifteenth year through sold-out showcases in London, Belfast and Amsterdam. Furthermore, 2013 also witnessed three critically acclaimed releases: compilations ‘Live in Argentina’ and ‘Live in Slovenia’, as well as artist album ‘Verses’, produced in conjunction with Nick Muir. 2014 is shaping up to be just as big…
Over the past few years Village Underground has firmly established itself as one of the Capital’s most loved event spaces. Boasting one of the rawest atmospheres in London, recent guests have included Four Tet, Nina Kravicz, Maceo Plex and Derrick May to name a few. Village Underground promises to provide an outstanding platform for John to create a unique vibe through an extended session of undiluted house and deep techno.
