I could have spent the last few pennies of my benefits cheque on an A list DJ with a mullet, his own fashion line, handed out ketamine at the door and created an oozing sweatpit. Wallowed in the self-indulgent glory and woken up the next day in a sea of £50 notes, cheap women and a pool of drugs Scarface would have been proud of.
Instead I have brought to you something that will hopefully bring lots of different people together into one orgy of wonder.
This month we will be seeing:
DEEP HOUSE, HOUSE, FUNKY, DUBSTEP, TECHNO
Joining us are our three esteemed guests:
PANGAEA
Record Labels: The much lauded Hessle Audio, and Berghain resident Scuba's Hotflush
Plaudits: Nic Fanciulli, Will Saul, Modeselektor
Recent Gigs: Hessle Audio hosting a room at Modeselektor's night in Berlin, Fabric residency
Records to Watch Out For: 'Router' was featured on Nic Fanciulli's Global Underground and Will Saul's Balance CDs, both released this year. The epic 'Memories' is also an absolute banger, recently out as a sneaky white label.
Forthcoming: Coming up on Hessle Audio number 10 is Pangaea's 6 track EP, set for release in early 2010. Check out the awesome 'Why' which is completely uncategorisable but completely great.
What To Expect: Expect future garage, house and techno influenced dubstep and even some funky shizz.

JOZIF
Record Labels: Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom, the effervescent Vitalik and his own limited edition MOG imprint
Plaudits: Craig Richards, Andrew Weatherall, Howie B
Recent Gigs: Space in Ibiza, smashing out Room 1 at Fabric 11-2 last week alongside Craig Richards, Tobi Neumann and Bruno Pronsato. Playing at The Warehouse Project 7th Nov in Manchester alongside Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Claude VonStroke, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Simon Baker…the list goes on.
Records To Watch Out For: Check 'Make It My Memory' on Hypercolour/MOG and the eerie 'Soonar 8' on Coincidence
Forthcoming: Coming on Leftroom is 'I'll Be' as well as a number of remixes on Vitalik
What To Expect: from murky and hypnotic house to quirky, charismatic and thoroughly electronic music that I am struggling to categorise right now.

MARTIN KEMP
Record Labels: Mart holds court with the much respected Blunted Robots record label, run by the hugely respected duo Brackles and Shortstuff, and has a spanking release coming on Gilles Peterson's radio producer's label Hold Box Flat
Plaudits: Gilles Peterson, Cooly G, Mumdance
Recent Gigs: Mr Kemp smashed out his debut Fabric at the Blunted Robots party and recently touched down at the now legendary Crazy Legs party in Bristol
Records To Look Out For: 'Aztec' coming very soon on Blunted Robots is a twisted futuristic congo-fuelled roller, and 'No Charisma' which formed one half of Blunted Robots' first release
Forthcoming: 'After The Night' backed with the aforementioned 'Aztec' coming mid November, and the spanking 'Bowser' which got a caning from Gilles Peterson on Radio 1 is another one to watch out for
What To Expect: Regardless of what the rumour mill on Dubstep Forum claimed, do not expect the former Spandau Ballet and Eastenders star to spring energetically onto the stage. Tribal, bass heavy, intricate funky mixed with underground classic garage, some conga ridden African pieces and possibly a little off-the-wall dubstep.
