The Campbell/Lanegan stuff is a bit dark, which is no bad thing. I kept thinking of Kylie and Nick Cave. Belle and Sebastian passed me by too, I'm remedying that, having downloaded their entire back catalogue (MininNova and U-Torrent).

Following your example, I found the Campbell and Lanegan stuff. I have a weakness for ethereal, twee, Scottish, indie, folk pop. I think that's quite enough genre identifiers to be going on with.
