yo sorry for responding three days late. HEALTH's latest album is the most accessible, so I'd just listen to the first three tracks from there (Men Today is my personal favorite). If you want something with less synth more "raw" noise rock then I'd start with Girl Attorney and Triceratops. Hope you dig it.

Probably STGSTV as well, but Feels is up there too. Chocolate Girl is probs one of my favorite songs of all time... Have you heard Sleep Cycle yet? Opinions on it?

I wouldn't say you're a movie pleb if you're a fan of Lynch. Maybe on the internet, but IRL people just think its 2deep4u nonsense, I tried showing my one friend Eraserhead and he turned it off after like 15 minutes.. Never seen Rabbits tho

Just because i'm kinda obsessed with him lately, you should check out Jacques, he's a young french artist who does techno with live recordings/field recordings and looping of various objects' sounds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAdGGLIxrwM

Oh yeah, that's pretty great. If you're into this, then you should definitely check out SCG. Here's one of my favourties off of Torch of the Mystics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH5lLWp1vgo

Ha, I know, I progress through discographies very slowly, will get to listening to it. Also solid anime picks, Cromartie is a riot, love that show.

Honestly, haven't listened to HCTI yet so I can't really say. I think SCG are a great band though so I'd recommend checking them out anyways because while they do share some similarities to AnCo they also are very, very different. Also, what are some of your favourite animu?

Some of Sun City Girl's stuff is like a much darker and off-kilter version of AnCo's Sung Tongs, so I think you'd enjoy them. Start with Torch of the Mystics for psych rock freak outs and ominous freak folk, and maybe check out Horse Cock Phepner if you're into very crude humorous lyrics. Death in June are kinda like gothic folk with the occasional industrial influence. Worth checking out in my opinion, maybe start with Brown Book or But What Ends When the Symbols Shatter.

I definitely love great characters and dialogue. I'm not gonna lie though, what made me decide to add it to my backlog at first was this: http://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/p/pema/20130701/20130701143418.gif I normally don't like fanservice and all that stuff but wew. I know, I know, I'm terrible.

A friend wants me to get into Monogatari but I am watching a lot of shows at the same time so it'll have to wait. Based on what I've seen from it though, I'll probably really enjoy it.
