Carnera works now, but 2 of the other tracks don't.... something technically wrong there. I may just create a new album of piano pieces, i have quite a few of them but i either don't like the sound, or I don't like the performances. Sorry my friend. Listening to your Youtube stuff. Very enjoyable. blown away by the work you did with the choir - what a sound. loving it.

Goldie, how are you? Got your message. Not been logged in here're for a while. Kind of working on more compositions, but not happy with them so they are all parked. Did a decent performance of a peice I wrote a long time ago called Carnera (it's about a rather famous horse from where I live) and it's piano only so it's on 'sketches'. I guess it will be August before I finish these tracks. What's happening with you? You working on anything at the moment?

Greeting Govi, Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and wishes. I to would like to convey my deepest good wishes to you and yours this Christmas time. It is a time for family and contemplation, a time to forget the commercial world and it's demands, a time for oneself and family, to review what makes us who we are and to think about where we are going. May your life be the way you have dreamt it to be. A beautiful life with good health and beautiful dreams. May all your pains and troubles turn into happiness and blessings. This world is a beautiful place when we are given the chance to see it. All the very best. :)

I agree. We should consult and share some ideas. I like to let people do exactly what they feel like doing. I find that in that way, the direction always changes and I like that. It inspires me. A kind of meeting of spirits. I'm not precious about the ideas I have. I don't own them. They are just expressions and I think they come through me rather than from me. In other words, they're not mine, so I am all about sharing.

Goldie, You have managed to combine melody & rhythm into an eclectic mix – a rare thing indeed. This is a joyous composition of maturity and honesty & integrity of spirit. For those of kind heart, this is a reassuring meandering in the garden of enlightenment. I have enjoyed this journey many times and hope to continue experiencing that in the future. By sharing, I see it as an offering which surely others, like me will learn from and enjoy forever. I think you nailed it all with this one – it’s fantastic. Great work my friend. Cal. 27/10/11.

I'm still trying to finish off the Cassini recordings, but I am a long way away from it as a lot of the tracks need remixed as they were essentially demos and there are 18 tracks scoped for Cassini in total. 2 others added to Cassini last week (Epimetheus & Atlas) and another track I did last week with a guitarist I know (Derek Lenethen - All Blues) which I put up on the Fragments collection. All Blues is a blues/jazz thing where I only play organ on it. Its all good fun. I hope you enjoy them.

Its a great piece Goldie. Only listened to it about 10 times so far. What can I say? I especially like where it just takes off 5 mins in. It elevates to a new level there, but it builds so nicley as well so it is a great surprise to hear it juts take off. So much going on. Its stimulating to listen to and both pleasant all at the same time, which is quite and achievement in my view. Superb! Is it going up on last FM?

On holiday next week with my wife and son, so it’ll be great to spend some time with my 11 year old who completely perplexes me with his questions about life & everything. Great fun though. All the best to you are your family. Who is the rather divine being in your avatar? Is it the supreme God Vishnu?

I remember you said you did a lot of your mixing on headphones Goldie...well the last week I got one of those Focusrite VRM boxes – costs about 80 Euros, or something, but what a clever idea that is. You can choose three different mixing situations and about 20-odd different speaker characteristics. All the best of them are in there and what an interesting perspective it puts on your mix to be able to hear it on different monitors (virtually) without paying a fortune for them. Just a suggestion. I now need to remix those previously rough mixes of my own.

So how are you and how is your music developing? Do you see it moving on from your previous work? What is your take on that and what do you think yourself this newer material will be like? I know it will be precisely focused, intense yet hones and of course, without walls. Where are you at with it?

I am only interested in this area because once, or twice whilst lying on my back on a clear night and looking deep in to space, I suddenly saw that we were all one...connected if you like with the universe and that was a and still is a great feeling. You know that way where you look at a tree and realise just how alive it is? Then you go home and look at your wooden table and realise what you done?

Hi Goldie, “What am I reading in m Avatar?”. Oh, just that great debate that goes on between big science and those who have an open mind. Every time a photograph is taken on a remote planet by a probe an anomaly often appears and I find it hilarious how scientists try to explain away that anomaly. This is quite a well known picture now where the surface of this remote planet it clearly shows straight lines. On the one hand the current scientific paradigms tell us that straight lines do not occur in nature because only humans try to create straight lines...and then someone comes along with a photo and says, ‘what about this then...what is going on here?...and then they get all serious and argumentative.

Hi Goldie, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been really busy trawling through old recordings and trying to complete the others. I’ll upload that to the fragments sessions when I get a chance. Found quite a few older tracks by different people and of course I am still trying to finish off the Cassini recordings. There is another 4 tracks to finish, of course you now me, I just decide ‘enough is enough as far as mixing is concerned’ and I move on to the next thing, but I always finish what I start, even if it takes a life time to do it. Sounds like you are going to get some uninterrupted free time soon to work on your music? You can’t beat it, no distractions a clear objective and the time to explore the inner musician. I wish you well and hope your journey is a good one. I can’t wait to hear your work.

Re, GAURA VANI -- Bhaja Mana -- Mystic Mantra 1. on You Tube. Headphones don’t do it justice. I played it through Mackie HR6 mkII’s (very loudly) in my home studio. Very impressive. The full glory is revealed in those speakers. Thanks for sharing. A friend of mine is a yogi and is in India at the moment and has been for the last 4 months. She spends a lot of time doing Yoga. I will send her this link. Thanks for sharing.

Humbled? It means that I am standing in the shadow of greatness perhaps as I aspire to do better things, but I am not great myself. Your adoration of my work makes me feel humbled because I feel I don't deserve such praise of my work. So I am humbled because I know your fine ear, listening skills & honesty is one that I can rely on as a barometer. So if you say it is good, I believe you, but when you say my work is good I am please but still humbled by it. Yes, the English language is complicated. I am no expert in it myself.
