The Expulsion into Paradise
Krems/Austria: April 28 – May 5, 2012
This year’s donaufestival will take place between April 28 and May 5 in Krems under the title “The Expulsion into Paradise”. Effective immediately, greatly reduced early booker weekend passes can be found on here. The detailed programme will be announced on the occasion of the March 8 donaufestival press conference. From this date on, also day tickets for the events will be available.
Weekend 1: April 28–30, 2012
On the first weekend, artists-in-residence CocoRosie – together with numerous guests – will present a multifarious programme combining music, theatre, dance, performance, film, video and photo art:
Soul Life ( a “popera” by Sierra Casady, premiere)
Harmless Monster (a music-film project by CocoRosie)
Nightshift (a dance performance by Bianca Casady and Biño Sauitzvy, Austrian premiere)
Sunday (an exhibition by Jean-Marc Ruellan and Bianca Casady)
The Eighth Night (the new CocoRosie concert show with numerous guests).

A limited number of early bird weekend tickets are available at a price of EUR 72,- for weekend 1 and EUR 66,- for weekend 2. THE FULL PROGRAM will be presented on 08 March 2011 as part of a PRESS CONFERENCE. From then on it will also be possible to purchase individual tickets.
