No luck on the DATH demos. I just keep hoping someday they'll get my response to their email from almost 2 years ago with my address in it and ship me copies. It took them over a year to reply to the first email, though, and who knows if they'll ever check the thing now. One would think that now they're not on tour I'd have better luck, but no response as of yet.

Well, even though I despise Disney (long story), I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. They don't always muck around with the practices of the companies they acquire, but I wouldn't put it past them. But, if/when they do, bye bye Punisher and all the "adult" themed comics.

It's from Emily Loizeau's music video for the song Je Suis Jalouse. Jealous of her new spunky young neighbor and the attention her husband is giving to this girl, Emily launches her rocketship home into space with a match, it's all really tongue-in-cheek and charming, I recommend looking the video up on youtube. It is a deceptively playful song about wanting to kill someone because of jealously, the video is not that bad considering the actual song mentions having the spunky neighbor over for dinner but poisoning it with nitroglycerin.

Sorry for the late reply, been sorta odd this past week. Anyway, I'm pretty picky with my comics as well. Having been a HUGE reader back in the early 90's, really burned me out on the superhero genre. When I came back to comics a couple of years ago I sorta vowed not to go back to it. The idea of characters that have been around for 40-50-60+ years and are still up to the same shenanigans just isn't appealing. With superheroes out of the picture I tend to go for horror, sci-fi, or stuff that many people would consider just plain odd. Big fan of a lot of Alan Moore's work, Mike Mignola(Hellboy etc), some select work from Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis...I could go on, but that'd be too much. Used to be into manga, but I lost interest. Aside from the occasional mugen no juunin/blade of the immortal, nothing really catches or holds my attention anymore. But I probably just need to plunge back into the scene again and really dig.

Yeah JJ is a cool guy, has good taste too. In regards to diversifying, I came to the same conclusion, there was way too much good stuff that I had been ignoring by focusing on Japanese music. I guess it sorta helped that I was getting really bored with most of my remaining faves when I made the change anyway :D. As for Swervedriver, I've heard of them, just haven't heard them. I'll give 'em a look up when I can. Just curious, what kind of comics are you into?

I get what your saying the drums on Rob the Prez-o-Dent are a bitch. Especially the easier songs too, I find myself getting bored that I either miss one note out of sheer boredom or wanting to fail due to rapid strumming before the song is over. And don't get me started on vocals.

Beyonce Carter: Ummm...first of all, I don't know why it's a double album...some ish should have been deleted, but that's neither here nor there. Disc 1 is a bit too subdued. Faves are Ave Maria and If I Were a Boy. But I'm still listening, and it's a bad sign when I have to force music to grow on me. Disc 2 is like opening up your blinds on a sunny day...actually, make that a partly cloudy day. Faves are Video Phone, Diva and Ego. So all in all, it's not her best work. That's Dangerously in Love...still.

I found you whilst I was searching the DBZ page and was quite surprised that someone would write a psych paper on Vegeta, but I must say I am impressed. He would make a fascinating subject to study. Congrats on the A+. I would love to hear what you though about him.
