Hi! Great news about all the upcoming concerts for you! I will see Coldplay at All Points West Festival in New Jersey in July. I have never seen the Flaming Lips in concert. I hear they are very good live.

I was an exchange student/youth ambassador to Belgium -- many years ago, of course. But I have remained in touch with my "family" and friends in Belgium and visit as often as I can. I have traveled quite a bit in the Netherlands.

Bat for Lashes was good. I was impressed by Natasha's vocals. I still think the newest album is not as good as the last album, but I think she is worth seeing live. You should go to Pukkelpop. Belgium is easy to drive. I used to live in Belgium -- near Antwerpen. I know Hasselt well.

My opinion on Bat for Lashes is the same as yours. I like the first album better than the new one. I'm going to see her perform at the end of this month and hope to be convinced that the new songs are good.

I've got a recommendation for you... if you've already heard the band, then you can disregard it: Band: Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin Album: Pershing Incredible indie pop music... probably right up your alley. Also check out their first album "Broom" which is also great but a much more lo-fi sound (not that there's anything wrong with that!!!). Let me know what you think.

I believe it was me that gave you that recommendation. I'm truly glad you enjoyed it so much. That is a fantastic album (as are all of their others)!!! And a great band too. Great to listen to when you're studying or just need to chill out for a little bit. How are things out in Netherlands these days???

When you set the bars that high to begin with, the only direction to go is down. As for Page France, I think you'll really like them. Have a great time in Barcelona.
