Pushmen are named after the Japanese subway workers who physically stuff human beings into crowded Tokyo commuter trains. The band originates from Austin, Texas and plays what can be described as a punishing form of metal. At the band's core are vocalist Craig Moore, guitarist Joey Cortez, and drummer Kevin Fender. All three members were once part of the now defunct late '90s thrash metal group Employer Employee.
