For me, their last album 'Theater of Dimensions' was the best one! I liked very much Manuela Kraller, but after ToD I've begun to prefer Dianne. And again such a disappointment... ((( They both are brilliant girls, what's the..?!
About Theater of Dimensions, anyone else notice it has almost similar structure as Nightwish's Dark Passion Play? One epic 14-min track, one track notably heavier than others, one simpler ballad, and orchestral instrumental track.. Both albums have this "issue" it's extremely difficult to point out a track you really dislike, neither album really has such a track (I could say The Islander for being too different but whatever!). Is the DPP/ToD the perfect format for a perfect symphonic metal album?
Disagree DPP is wayyy more stronger in all aspects . Theater of Dimensions had Strong Songs with first half of the album then weak songs till The long song The album titled song which is too repetitive though being epic all in all Theater of Dimensions is so similar to The album of India Fantastic 4 songs at the beginning then it gets weaker with list of The songs .
I only discovered Xandria this year, I had heard of the band earlier but never listened. Then this month I took Theater of Dimensions to focus listening only to discover that the vocalist and the band had parted ways. Disappointing, as Theather of Dimensions is exceptionally great album, it has to be my favourite album for this year at least (even though it may have been released in 2016). As a new fan I look forward to future releases from both the band and Dianne too. I certainly hope She can continue her career elsewhere as she was the highlight of this album (band?) and pretty adorable as a person too. It's kind of unbelievable that she was treated bad in the band, it didn't seem to be like that, looking at their photoshoots and live videos. But then again, even Nightwish parted ways with Tarja so suddenly and pretty much out of nowhere.
Agora sim eu respeito!
PLEEAASE can someone help? The vocal melody on "Queen Of Hearts Reborn" at 1:50, WHAT IS THAT FROM??? I've been driving myself crazy for days trying to find the song it reminds me of, someone please help!
Honest to God I never knew why everyone thinks Sacrificium is the best thing ever. It's completely unimaginative and repetitive (But the cover art is gorgeous). Theater of Dimensions however is really great
Today is my first experience with Theater of Dimensions. I liked the previous two albums very much and i was dissapointed with the first track, where the heart is home. However, everything went better with death to the holy and as the album progresses it reveals some pretty good tracks. By the moment i think it's better than Sacrificium which wasn't bad by any means.
A Theatre Of Dimensions (song) is so f*ing epic.... I'm still in shock. Even though, the whole album isn't special at all... there are few songs that I enjoyed, but nothing new. But I must confess that I liked the acoustic versions! :) Dianne is so lovely!
I thought that Sacrificium was insuperable. Then Theather of Dimensions leaked and I can say that this is the best album of the band. The melody, the songwriting and the diversity makes this one unique. Xandria has grown so much with Sacrificium and have so much to grow with Theather of Dimensions. I've been listening to these 13 songs for days and I won't get sick of them for a loooong time, I hope. The world needs to hear this masterpiece! Death to the Holy, Dark Night of the Soul, Ship of Doom and A Theather of Dimensions are my favorite for now.
"Theater of Dimensions" is an excellent album. As much as I enjoyed "Sacrificium", I agree with everyone that says this one's better - there's more diversity in the songwriting. The title track is simply awesome.
