Finally got around to giving Enduring Spirit a couple spins. I'm going to say it, you schmucks are a bunch of lamos who are just annoyed that this isn't a 1 for 1 repeat of Planetary Clairvoyance. They do their new Beautifully Ugly Prog sound a lot of justice while still having their distinctive hooky style. I legitimately prefer this over their old sound. My only complaint is that the guitar solos do feel a little excessive sometimes.

first ever modern death metal band i found. i remember listening to planetary clairvoyance back in 2020 and thinking it was the best modern death metal album to ever be released. i'd disagree now but i give credit a lot to these guys for getting me to dive deeper into death metal!

The new album is massive! Probably my favorite death metal release this year alongside Leper Colony.

The Enduring Spirit is really damn good.

I like the variety on "The Enduring Spirit", some stuff is "shreddier" than anything they've done before and more than a little bit of Dream Unending comes up (particularly on the second half), but I'm unsure how this ranks in their discography. In general it seems fun, worth the wait!

At least, they could have tuned their guitars, if they really need to play this wanky stuff.

I like The Enduring Spirit, it's just a good thing I also enjoy Dream Unending.
