In 2004 Stefan Winter invited Theo Bleckmann to take part in a cabaret opera at the Munich Opera Festival; this is the beginning of a joint musical journey through the world of pop, jazz, classical music and new compositions. A close collaboration with Fumio Yasuda follows, resulting in one of the most beautiful orchestral versions of "My favorite Things". Bleckmann interprets an extraordinary arrangement of the Gershwin song "But not for me" by Uri Caine with a warm, soulful voice. Also the recording of the Charles Ives song "In Summer Fields" is one of the greatest discoveries of the individual artist Theo Bleckmann. The Album "Love Song" brings together the highlights of these ten years from 2004 to 2014: the most beautiful songs of a multi-talented musician, sound artist, performer and composer, but also a personality who combines the worlds of jazz, classical music and pop with stylistic self-confidence.
