Deliberated
Nothing beats the early MDB, but I still love this album and many that have come after this. This album is so fucking dramatic and dark, like a great horror movie. Love the guitar tones and Aaron’s desperate howls lol. It’s at least an 8/10

Listening to this again. I remember why I lost interest and fully embraced Draconian. This album is decent, but its just not as good as what came before. Its a very obvious dip in quality, still decent. Just not whats to be expected from MDB.

Cover art is terrible and The Blue Lotus is one of their weakest songs but still it's one of their best albums. There is no sense to talk about highlights, but i must admit Catherine Blake's lyrics and vocal part of The Prize of Beauty starting with 'She waits for me in my dreams...' are just a few of major advantages of this release. An unforgettable experience, I call it.
